Japan Fukushima
Plant Still Poses Danger
For many years Japan have been trying to recover from the earthquakes
that occurred to different parts of the country. Leaving noting but the total destruction,
which took as many as 20,000 peoples' lives, dropping the country's economy, population and growth. Also, The author mentioned.."Japan struggled with a rescue effort of nuclear
accidents and facing the worst nuclear emergency since Chernobyl. Explosions
and leaks of radioactive gas took place in three reactors at the Fukushima
Daiichi Nuclear Power Station that suffered partial meltdowns, while spent fuel
rods at another reactor overheated and caught fire, releasing radioactive
material directly into the atmosphere". That means that they were in a terrible situation. In March 2012, researches showed that the damage could be way more harmful, which made re-think seriously about the matter of cooling the reactors properly so they don't be overwhelmed. They succeed with controlling the reactors temperature but they noticed shorten in the water used for cooling. However it didn't seem like a big deal to them so they solve it by applying more water around 9 tons each hour. As a result, letting them put the problem of Fukushima Nuclear Station Danger under control for now.
Japan is a really strong country that recurs from natural and nuclear
accidents in such a short time. They do their best to locate a problem, plan and act fast. In addition they change
government when they feel they have to. That’s how they solve the difficulties
they face. Nuclear power is dangerous but can be controlled. I’m really
impressed by how Japanese people develop fast. Furthermore, what some other countries do in
several years, Japan can accomplish it in about a year. They look for better even
when they are going throw the worst. This is one reason made me thinking about
learning their language.
