Oil was founded for the first time at the french Guyanas coasts. This research was found 150 km at the east of Cayena at 2000 meters deep in the ocean.
This is the first discovery of oil in the Guyana, so this will improve the economic income for this country. The Shell company is en charge of the extraction of this oil and they tell us that they are really glad with the results of this discovery. This was told by David Lawrence, the person en charged of the extraction. They are just allowed to excave 6000 meters underground so they will have a lot of oil to take out.
For me this is really interesting because is the first oil discovery in this place so it is so nice, and also it will improve the economic income of this country, so this will be so helpful for the residents. Also they don`t have like to much experience, because is the first discovery, so i think they must start thinking on how are they going to exploit this event.
I also think that people over there might be so excited because it is the FIRST time with this kind of surprise and also it means that they can have not just one or two but many discovers like this one, so they don't know what other surprises are going to be in their way and teach us that the world is so small and just when we think we are near to know everything something like this can happen.
