Blog #3 compare and contrast

Compare and contrast

Ivory coast is facing a very hard situation right now because of the recent elections, this country is almost in a revolution, I choose two photgraphies that I think describe the best this situation. Next I will compare both of this photographies pointing to the characteristics of each one.

The first photograph that I choose shows a man shouting, and in the background it shows a lot  of destruction and chaos. I think this image express very well what is happening in this country. This image also shows all of the destruction and chaos that is going on in thi part of the world.  This image also show the rage that all the people in this country is living. Analizing this picture as a photograph is very interesting because it follows the rules of thirds very well because this picture has at least one interesting thing in every point of the quadrant.

The second photograph shows a group of people rising in arms because they are tired of the opression that this country lives in continously. Also you can perceive the anger in the people faces. I think that in this kind of photograph you really can feel what is happening in this people feelings, and in the situation that they are living. I think that analyzing this picture in a photograph way it fullfills all of the requirements that it needs to be considered a good photography.

In conclusion I can say that even tough the pictures are not similar, they both express very well what they are trying to express, that is to show the difficult situation that is country is living. I think that everybody can express their anger in very differents ways, while they are not affecting the public order or other people. I also think that the future of our country is all up to us, because if we do not express our feelings who is going to do it?
