Compare and contrast paragraphs
When you compare things, you have to see how that things are alike. On the other hand when you are contrasting, ypu have to see how that things are different. So in this images I will analize which one is the best for the news, because when we are watching or reading news the first thing that we see is the image. Therefore if we see an interesting and good image we will want to know more about that. So those two photographs can be interesting, but in this case the topic that it is about is that a Chilean taxi driver was killed because of a minefield while he crossed the border, so we have to analyze each of them. Although they are very similar.
I will analyze the first one that I found on the website where I got the news. That photograph is interesting like the other one, but this one has more things to visualize and it gives to us more information because we can see the army, the taxi that is destroyed and the crane that is taking the taxi.
The second image is more surprising because the car is like totally destroyed. I think this picture is more credible because if we analize the story, this picture is better. Also seeing that picture we can imagine many things and of course we want to know more about that.
The most important thing it is that the picture must be interesting enough so that audience is willing to read it. As I said the best one is the second because it is more credible and surprising. Also it has the objects in a very good position complying with the rule of thirds.
