On this essay I will talk about how the region of East-Africa perceives the world. The main countries of this region are Ethiopia, Sudan, Tanzania, Somalia and Kenya. But first, I will define perception. According to the web page Dictionary.com, Perception is "the act or faculty of apprehending by means of the senses or of the mind; cognition; understanding." I will also give my opinion about how the perception of these countries.

East-african population is different from country to country, for example in Kenya there are lots of ancient tribes that have a lot of differences such as the the clothing and the body accessories different from the somalian people because most of its population is dressed as civilized people and behave as it. All the african countries are known because of their conflicts, revolutions and wars, but actually the stereotype of a east-african person is the opposite, warm and friendly, mystical cults, great chefs, etc. Because of the poverty of these countries, the people can't see easily what is happening int he world. They don't have t.v's, computers or internet, smartphone, etc. They share their news by talking with other people and they can't get in touch with the latest news of the world.

As I see it, the tourists always visit these countries to see beautiful landscapes, wild animals, rare tribes, warm and friendly people, etc; and the problem is that everybody wants to visit the best known and famous cities because they have heard of them of just because those cities are more important and urbanized than the little towns. I have always thought that these countries were always in war and the soldiers recruited were fighting because they have nothing and they need to feed their families. But also thought that these countries are rich in both cultural and environmental goods.

In conclusion, east-africa is a great but dangerous region, great because its diversity, animals, people, culture, etc. And dangerous because they are always in war because of stupid reasons such as territory or oil.
