China, Relationship For Better Power

                                 By Jane Perlez/Published: June 5, 2012

Power is how to make others do what you want them to do. Sometimes you decide to join a strong group or an organization to get more power and to get closer from being the dominant in the area around you. Well, it’s the same when it’s get to countries and more specific, China. The Russian president, Vladimir V. Putin, which Chinese respect and appreciate for being a strong leader for 12 years, arrived to China on Tuesday.  The purpose of his visit was to make a partnership that will increase both countries’ power and to cancel out the United States influence on Central Asia.

The talked about different future plans that involves both countries and the formal soviet countries. They also disagreed with America’s Missile-Defense System in Poland and other Eastern Europe countries intended to protect them from Iran. Also, making alliances is one of the capabilities that China is focusing on, which they believe it will allow them to lead international and regional alliances without the United States. I think this idea will be affective as China is forming the organization that includes six countries, China, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. Afghanistan and Iran will join the meeting as a viewer. Moreover, energy is considered one of the power capabilities for China. That’s why Russia, which considered the second country in gas energy, will ship gas to China to help them developing fast. Other capability China is trying to accomplish is talking to elements of Taliban to inform them that they want the protection of their iron ore, steal and other minerals interest in Afghanistan after the planned withdrawal of the United States in 2014.

In conclusion, I think those capabilities China is working on these days will make them much more powerful than they are nowadays. They are thinking about what safe for them and also strengthening their on capability. Not mentioning the anonymous Nuclear Power they have. Furthermore, they are really motivated to be the dominant in the world. In my opinion, I’m really frightened by how many countries are seeking for the power that will destroy them and will cause an enormous death statistics. Having power might be important for protection but not to create a massive destruction.
