This photograph talks about the incident in which Romeo Langlois was involved. Recently he  was kidnapped in Colombia by an army group called las FARC, but he was recently liberated. This photos were taken the same day of his release, in which also was involved the French Government and the Red Cross, and worked together for his release.

The diferences between this two pictures, are that in the first picture, he was more guarded than in the second one. I think this happens because he was nearest the enemy camp, also because he is greeting an element of the Red Cross in signal of friendship, grateful and thanks, and they have to be protected. In the second one we can see that he is just walking in order to be finally liberated, and finally in the background we can see more people in the second one than in the first one.

The similarities of this two photos are many because in both photos we can see Romeo and the soldiers of the army group. Another interesting thing is that he is always taping the scene with his camera to don't loose any detail of his release. Because probably in the future, he would published on his country. We can appreciate that he has the same clothes,  because both pictures were taken on the same day. We can appreciate that he feels happy and greatful because they were going to release him. He also says that he had been treated  well, at every time he was guarded by las FARC soldiers. The background is the same, the sky and the trees are the same. Finally we can see the unconformity of the Colombian soldiers because they have to release a prisioner and they have to let him go. We can appreciate that he is wearing normal clothes instead of military uniform and another important thing is that he  has not been mistreated.

To conclude, in both photos we can appreciate a happy and greatful men who finally was liberated thanks to the colaboration of the government and the red cross, also he is happy because he is going to return to his country to see his family.
