Change of power in Burma

On the northeastern Asia, the biggest change that I can describe is that of Burma.

From 1988 to 2011, Burma was officially led by the army, considered such as one of the worst dictatorships on the planet. The army has officially given way in 2011 to civilian rule led by one of its former members, but the weight of the military remains dominant in practice. This country became independent of the United Kingdom January 4, 1948 but this country really became independent in 2011 after the fall of the dictatorship. This is really hard to believe these days but the first democracy in Burma has appeared only a year ago. Are but despite independence, Burma is still controlled by a person of the former dictatorship.

So there was last year, in 2011 a change of power very important for this country. This is partly due to the numerous demonstrations that the Burmese have caused throughout the country to revolt against the dictatorship unsustainable. But thanks to pressure from countries around the world such as France, England or the United States of the former regime. This allowed Burma to gain independence and true ac power of a democracy.

Today Burma is trying to develop this economy and especially to show the world that Western democracy is in place in this country. Despite that human rights are not always respected, but there's still been great progress has been made during that year. That is why it must change continuously devolving power and men's rights are respected. In addition there are still many small civil war within the territory that have to be set. But overall, this is actually being a positive shift in power to Burma, and especially its people!
