Blog 6 : Global perception of Oceania

....This essay deals with what is the general perception of Oceania. The four principal countries of Oceania are Australia, New Zealand, Philippines and Indonesia. In the first part, I will talk about the global perception of these countries. In the second part, I will give you my own perception of these countries.

....In a general way, oceanian people are still quite relaxed and slightly stressed. You will learn all their famous phrases "No worries, mate" in Australia, New Zealand. In general, oceanian people avoid getting upset, and will tend to take on the bright side. There are also still many natives, but they are not terribly well treated. They are not mixed with the population. For example, in Australia, the natives live in the middle of the country. Oceania is perceived as one of the prettiest regions of the world with white sand beaches, amazing landscapes. People are not stressed, but there are a lot of poverty. This is the best place to go surfing or scuba diving. Apart from New Zealand and some place in Australia, the weather is always good and warm. As I said before there is much poverty, especially in indonesia and Philippines. Moreover, many asian come to live in these countries. Oceanian people have developed a very good navigation to get around from island to island, people think that they are the first great navigators in the world. The flora and fauna are incredible in this region. You can see full of exotic animals like koalas, sharks, snakes. Furthermore, the flowers are beautiful.

....In my opinion, the oceanian people are extraordinarily lucky to live in this region. Oceania is a mosaic of peoples and ethnicities which combines Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Hindu and animist. It is also a multitude of islands strung out in the middle of the Indian Ocean to the capricious waters.

....In conclusion, Oceania is a lovely place to discover new cultures. It is also an area with spectacular landscapes that you can not see in another part of the world.
