What is the global perception of Argentina?

Argentina is part of toe Southern Cone of South America as well as Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay, but I will talk about Argentina because it is the best known and people talk more about this country.

 From a general point of view the perception that people have about Argentinians is mostly negative. People have said that Argentinians are disagreeable, megalomaniac, lazy, vain, arrogant, and that they believe that they are the best. Argentinians are also known because it’s beautiful girls, the cultured society and good soccer players. As an example we have a Diego Aramando Maradona that is known as one of the best players in the history. Maradona achieved several accomplishments like the 1986 ,1990 and 1979 World Cup; and Lionel Messi that is known as the best current best player in the world. In the other hand Messi is leader of the Argentine team and people said he is the successor to Maradona.

Another perception of these people is that they have big noses and their accent is easy to recognize. Something important too is its food. Argentinian people are known also for their love of eating. They consume a lot of beef and asado.

Well to conclude this, the perceptions are only generalizations that people have about things, but that doesn´t mean that they are true, although most of them are. Something that we can´t deny is that Argentinians have very good soccer players and delicious food.
