Compare and contrast

It is known that every country in the world has its own army. One of the most powerful army is the United States. They have everything, the best technology, the best equipment, the best weapons and the best disciplinary styles. There are also weak armies such as the Ugandan army that doesn't have the same as the USA army, they've lack of pretty much everything except for cheap and illegal weapons.

The first picture shows american soldiers waving the United States flag, celebrating the 235 anniversary of the independence. They are being applauded by all the people at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis. The soldiers are happy because the 4th of July is the best thing that ever happened to american people, It is known to be the most important day in the United States history, when the delegates of the 13 British colonies accepted the Declaration of Independence. It's a very interesting picture because not everything is concentrated in the soldiers, it follows the rule of thirds, not everything is concentrated in the middle of the picture and it has a beautiful background. People showing love to their country, The United States of America.

The second picture shows how Ugandan soldiers live their everyday duty, they don't seem to be happy at all, it can be seen that they have to drink water from old oil containers, different from the first picture, they have weapons with them, because they're in a permanent war and it's all about religion and politics. These soldiers are forced to fight for the President principles, and it doesn't matter if they agree or not with him because they're soldiers and they must do what he wants. Analyzing it as a picture , I can say that is well balanced because in the left side there are 2 soldiers far from the camera and in the right side there is one soldier near the camera. It has a very sad background, abandoned and destroyed houses because of war. It can be seen in their faces that they don't like to do what they're doing, I think they feel ashamed of themselves.

In conclusion, I think all soldiers have time for everything in their life, for example, be with their family or fight. But anything they are required to do has to be done and has to be perfectly done. Even if they don't like what they are ordered to do they have to do it. I hate war. If I was the president of the world, I would order that if a country declares war on any other country they have to go to Jupiter and go back and after that they could be able to attack. I chose these pictures because I feel they show how soldiers can be different or can have same characteristics. The happiness of the first picture contrasted with the sadness of the second one. And how every soldier is wearing an uniform, in both pictures.
