Blog #4: Germany Is Open to Pooling Debt...

Blog #4: Germany Is Open to Pooling Debt, With Conditions

This new is about a deal that Germany would accept “…in exchange for more centralized control over government spending in Europe.” According to Nicholas Kulish. Also, the plan is to make a union between the countries that conforms the European Union and do a fiscal integration, what they want to mean about that is transform all the debts of the countries in the Union, into one, and this unique debt would be paid in 25 years approximately.

“More Europe, not less” according to Angela Merkel is what the plan is supposed to do, make some countries get an extra help from its “neighbors”. Try to work as the Union that they are. This will help those countries to get a fiscal expansion and integration.

“…German leaders have not provided details of a potential deal.” It means that they don’t have a complete agreement yet, but what they´re trying to explain is that is not necessary that all the countries sign on the bargain.

Of course, this is going to help the currency stability, but it is necessary to “…reassure markets.” according to Nicholas Kulish. This process is not going to be easy, is a severe and exhausting challenge that is being planned to support everyone’s interest.

I chose this article, because is very clear were the power is, what I want to say is that Germany has a big economic power that they can help other ones in trouble; But Germany is not helping because they’re generous, there’s a big benefit behind this help, and that benefit is the expansion, they’re thinking of the future, what will probably happen to Europe in many years. “…Germany is the only country with the financial wherewithal to calm the turbulence and guarantee the currency zone’s collective solvency.” Said Nicholas Kulish “…Nothing can be done without German support.” Mr. Soros said.

Here’s reflected the big influence that Germany has in almost all the countries that conforms the European Union, Without Germany, there’s nothing left. What this last quote wanted to said is that most of all countries depend a lot on Germany, and Germany is taking advantage of it.
