The action of the USA, creating a missile shield in Europe, is the cause of world tension because the Russians didn’t take that action as a peaceful one so they react an begin working in  the creation and research for more advance missiles . With that action try to balance, once again, the power between USA and Russia. In this article two pictures are going to be analyzed, compare and contrast in order to determine which one describes better  the situation.


The first picture shows a missile launcher truck in Moscow, Russia at the middle of the red square, this is a really good one because it shows how far this problems is going there are missile launchers in the streets, they have been testing missiles, the tanks go for practicing, Russia is preparing for something big.  Analyzing it as photography is a very interesting photo because it follows the rule of thirds, it has at least something interesting in each quadrant. It also plays with the colors of the building in the back, the color of the  street, the powerful presence of the missile launcher.

The second picture is one of a protest against the shield in Europe, the meaning of these picture shows the other side of the story, how all of the countries are in danger if these problem goes further, how the people is worried about what will it happen because as we all know if Russia and USA declare war it would be a global war, but now that we have nuclear weapons whole cities can be can destroy in minutes. If we watch it as a photo and its artistic value we can see that there is at least one thing en each quadrant and also it has something in the center, also it shows the flags that in a way represent all the nations that could be involve in this problem if it gets worst.

After analyzing the two pictures we can say that they are very different in the way of the meaning and what they represent, other important aspect is that the feeling that it produces in you in the first one you feel overwhelmed and in the second one you feel sad but still happy because someone is trying to stop it. However they both follow the rule of thirds,  also that they are very colorful background that contrast with the front and both are related to the case of the missiles.
